One America News Network and AWE to Receive Broad Carriage on Buckeye CableSystem

One America News Network and AWE Coming to Buckeye Customers later this Year

San Diego, CA – June 10, 2015, Herring Networks LLC, announced today that One America News Network, OAN, a 24/7 source of credible national and international news, will be added to the channel line-up on Buckeye’s cable operations in Toledo and Sandusky Ohio in the second half of 2015.   Additionally, AWE will receive broader carriage, moving to Buckeye’s “Standard Service” tier.

One America News Network, which will celebrate its second year anniversary on July 4th, will be broadly distributed in standard and high definition to customers who have access to Buckeye’s “Standard Service” package.  The channel will be positioned near CNN and Fox in the news neighborhood.  The launch of OAN and repackaging of AWE is scheduled to take place in the second half of this year.

“We are extremely pleased to add Buckeye CableSystem to our growing list of One America News Network carriage partners and excited that AWE will be available to a broader audience,” stated Charles Herring, president of Herring Networks, Inc.   “With more live news coverage than any other cable news outlet, One America News will be welcomed by news viewers on Buckeye CableSystem.”

One America News Network offers 21 hours of live news coverage plus two one-hour political talk shows, namely The Daily Ledger and On Point with Tomi Lahren.  While other emerging and established cable news networks offer multiple hours of live news coverage, only OAN can claim to consistently provide 21 hours of live coverage every weekday.   Recent third party viewership data, namely accumulated viewer hours, shows that OAN surpasses other news channels such as Al Jazeera America, Fusion, Fox Business News, and Bloomberg TV as measured on a leading MVPD, across 65 markets.

Since its debut less than 24 months ago, One America News Network has grown its distribution to over 12 million households with carriage by AT&T U-Verse TV, Verizon FiOS TV, GCI Cable, Frontier Communications,  CenturyLink PRISM TV, Consolidated Communications, Duncan Cable, GVTC and numerous additional video providers.  One America News Network operates production studios and news bureaus in California and Washington, DC.   The network’s Washington DC news bureau, located at 101 Constitution Avenue, NW, is the closest commercial building to the U.S. Capitol.
